Hard Ice cream Gone Forever???
What happened to the hard ice cream with the delicious flavors (strawberry cheesecake, mint chocolate chip, etc.)???
Hey Frankie. I'll be sure to ask the management team about the hard ice cream. To be honest I don't remember what lead to the change, but we'll talk more about it.
Waffle Irons in the Cafe
Waffles in the cafe is some of my favorite thing! However, only on weekdays is two waffle irons enough to keep the line at a reasonable wait. On Sunday mornings two waffle irons does not compensate for the rush of students after mass and I have found myself waiting in line for 30 minutes. I would suggest the cafe put out four waffle irons on Sunday mornings that way the wait time would be reduced.
Thanks for the idea Lauren. I'll look into this for you.

Late Night on the Weekends
I have attended Franciscan University for three years now, and as long as I remember, there has never been Late Night on Friday or Saturday nights. In my opinion, these are the two days that people would eat most compared to the weekdays because we do not have to wake up for school in the morning, and we are primarily staying up later. Extending Late Night to Friday and Saturday nights would bring much more business in the Cafeteria.
Homey Touches
I really appreciate the new fruit and chip display in the upstairs of Antonian Hall. Instead of plastic bowls, the use of white, square, ceramic dishes to hold the fruit and chips makes the caf feel less like...well...a cafeteria and more like eating at home. I also appreciate the nice fall decorations. Well done!
Clean dishes
Many times I have found that the dishes are dirty. Now I always make sure to check the silverware and the mugs. Some of the mugs are just stained, but some are still dirty, because if I put my hand in them I can wipe of some of the dirt. I have noticed other people doing the same.
Hot Lunch Longer
I think it would be beneficial for lunch upstairs in the caf to be open until at least 1:30 during the week. I find it to be a time crunch after 12:05 mass to grab hot food in the caf. Often, after I would finally get into the caf after mass, meet up with friends, and wait in line to get hot food, that the things such as the salad bar upstairs are closed before I have time to grab something else to eat.
Any one else have this problem?
Would it be too burdensome for the caf staff to keep the upstairs open for 15 more minutes during the week?
I have a couple questions to help me gain deeper insight into the problem, Kimberly.
1. What time do you usually get to the Caf after mass? and
2. Would 15 extra minutes be enough to solve the problem?
